Brooks Running Shoes: A Cavalcade in Stop-Motion

The Great Society has done a lot of great work for Brooks Running Shoes in recent years, and helped to launch their Cavalcade of Curiosities Bus Tour across the nation. BLUESCOUT licensed this great track from composer Brian Hall celebrating the buildout of the bus.

Bridgeport Brewery: Mississippi blues legend Otha Turner for Beervana

BLUESCOUT teamed up with R/West Agency, Bug Music, and Birdman Records to place the song “Shimmy She Wobble” by Mississippi fife and drum legend Otha Turner on a spot for Bridgeport Brewery. The track, which was a field recording done live by handheld recorder, was previously used as the main title theme to the film “Gangs of New York.”

The Good Guys: Tough guys get hip to the Jersey sound

The Good Guys on FOX is a great new hit cop show, and like a molten bird rising from the ashes of Asbury Park, the show came to BLUESCOUT to license legendary Jersey classic rock band The Doughboys’ “Sidetracked Again.” We’re happy to be a part of cop show history.

Fave client R/West called on BLUESCOUT to find the perfect song for a series of videos promoting Simple Shoes. We licensed UK-based The Aeroplanes’ “Going Down” for the videos and love the feel it gave the spots.
