BLUESCOUT has been fortunate in its 5 year history to produce and license good music of all styles to tons of great projects.

We’ve worked extensively with the inimitable Wieden+Kennedy advertising agency in Portland, on a wide range of projects. We’ve composed and produced music for Levi’s, Old Spice and Nike, and music research and idea development for Coke, Proctor and Gamble, Jeep, and Target to name a few.

We have licensed our music for popular television shows, such as The Good Guys, The Mentalist, The Big Bang Theory, Cold Case, Burn Notice, and many others. Warner Brothers and Fox Studios come to us regularly for music options for their projects.

At the heart of the company sits Joey Prather – creative director, composer, and producer. Raised on Southern Rock and 80′s rap and pop, Joey has performed and produced music in the indie rock, electronic, folk, classical, ska, jazz, and pop worlds. For kicks, he plays Bach partitas on the family piano and lots of records on the stereo.

BLUESCOUT is a personal extension of this experience, and our clients come to us not for our ping-pong tables or huge staff, but because of the music.
